  3. Awesome! Shame the eyes aren't in a clear green. Then they could light up just like the camera lens on top. Still, this definitely looks like a must buy! Hope Bandai made enough for all of us.

  5. First : Great kit, all we want to see since 2000 ( the very first one...twelve years already? mates, that is a long waiting to see a ver. 2.0 treatment for one of the best Gundams, specially a Amuro suits )

    2. The articulations are the same as MG Hi-ν or MKII ver. 2.0, ( The Zaku II & Rx-78-2 ver. 2.0 are still the best in the area ) well it's a ver. Ka, right?

    3. The forehead cameras... Looks like similar case as MG 00 O Raiser, the eyes stickers, there was a more " transparent " ones ( it cames with three options, if this user can recall ), but if you paint it yourself with clear colors, that will be OK

    4. Totally dethrones MG unicorn, let's see how Dalong.net rate it when they get this kit for complete review

~ happy hollidays everybody & marry Christmas

  6. How come when people see "Ver.Ka" they only think of the Unicorn's knee articulation.
How about someone think of the Wing, crossbone or Sinanju!
Ver.Ka means nothing in terms of articulation since Katoki is heavily involved in almost all MG kits for some time now.

    1. Dear Anonymous 2:44 greetings :

      Respond accepted, thank you

      1. Is this user who claimed Sinanju ver. Ka. was the King ( former? ) of MG's but many else said this one is gonna replace him in the throne ( Watch out, it might happens ) XD

      2. Yes, This user accept having " Katoki nightmare sindrome " because of tragic issues happens in the past, the complexity of Katoki's kits is well known in the Gunpla community. On smoothest hands, can be a masterpiece, but, in clumsy hands like mines, put it this way, building plastic model kit was not exactly my strong point T0T

      God bless & Happy hollidays

  7. IF i don't topcoat this, would the decals stay longer or as "permanently" as normal decals does?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nope, the waterslide decals will fall off when the dry without a topcoat. Use a gloss coat to add the "painted on" effect. If you want a flat coat, flat coat over the gloss coat.

    2. It's your decision to topcoat or not, you can use Mr. Mark softer & setter though

PS : there is nothing "permanently"

    3. agree with Mr. Dan

    4. ok this is what i think i will do:
No topcoat but I will apply both MR mark setter AND softer.
will it stick as good as dry transfer decals?

  8. Sorry to take so much space in the blog, but...

What happen to people like this user who already have the old one ? play a mirror game??? XD

~ By someone who don't make same model twice

    1. If you look at it closely, ITS NOT THE SAME DAMN MODEL.
It may be the same MS but a totally different model kit.
Why wouldn't you want this wonderful model kit? and your reason is you have the old, ugly, disproportional MG Nu?
are you already satisfied on the old MG Nu that you have? If so, don't buy this kit.

    3. Sorry, but who design the V2? ... The last name start with a "K"

    4. Anon 7:23 here
oh, did Hajime Katoki design v2? xD
now i feel stupid, im sorry for my ignorance.
anyways, It will be an awesome MG if it would have an MG treatment.

    5. any Titans Test Team Mobile Suit would be a great MG specially hrairoo or woundwort. And the different Zeta variations deserve an MG like Z strike or ZII.

  10. ZZ Gundam Ver. Ka. please :D or GP01 :D

    1. ok, I am a BIG UC fanboy, but please, of ALL Mobile suits, NOT ZZ.

  11. MG 2.0 GP03S Stamen would be my pick. And MG 2.0 NT-1 Alex would be great. I would be so happy to have both of those :)

Anyway, back on topic: Loving all the little gimmicks this kit has. Looks like it'll a wonderful build and make some great poses.
