  1. Bandai, those panels should end up be Chrome parts ok? I don't like damn big stickers.

    1. Sorry, but I'm a modeler and I hate chrome just as much as I hate stickers.

And if the price tag is any indication, it won't be chromed.

    2. You can always take the 1/100 HG's ones and stick them in the MG XD

      Delete
    3. from the slight peek into the inside panels, looks like it will have separate pieces for the inside panels (yes they have such technology) and going how things might be, it will be chrome, or perhaps not

no worries auriga, we fellow modelers understand that. stripping the chrome is pure PITA. (plus no chrome is cheaper to pay too)

    4. Looks like stickers behind clear plastic.

      Delete
    5. probably clear (yellow?) parts/plastic with chrome stickers under them. that would look definitely better.

      Delete
    6. clear yellow plastic with holographic stickers equivalent of HG X for the underneath would be interesting

      Delete
    7. i think it'll be clear plastic...chrome parts aint really gonna cut cut it it would just look too shiny...so i agree with anon 6:43 and zoidiect...

    8. Design is old and uninteresting.

Katoki, please make a MG Gundam X ver. Ka instead of this junk. Thank you.

  3. Love to see it, but I am not holding my breath until I can actually PRE-ORDER it, unlike AGE-3 and AGE-FX...

    1. Not releasing a MG AGE-3 and AGE-FX is the biggest insult to a modeller ever. ><

      Delete
    2. I know right? Age wasn't my cup of tea, and I still want those two.

      Delete
    3. MG X has release date, and price. it will be released for sure

      Delete
    4. Yeah, I don't recall the AGE-3 of FX having either a price or date so.. hold that breath? Or something.

      Delete
    5. Bandai would be stupid to not release this. X is still the only series without a master grade for its titular Gundam.

    3. Let him spam, ppl. He's just pissed Rrobbert184 blocked him from his channel XD

    4. You know, suiton, there's this theory that says if you have enough monkeys bashing away at enough typewriters, one of them is bound to write the full works of Shakespeare. Likewise, if there's one monkey spamming away a hugeass evergroing list of crap he wants, he's bound to randomly get one right eventually.
      Fancy that

    5. LoL, I'm reading the latest posts about this news in animesuki and clicked a link to suiton's blog. Suiton finally acknowledges the infamy of his wishlists hahaha.

    8. @Blacksolar212, well said young sir

      Delete
    9. @Blacksolar212 yes! i agree! well said! well said! *claps* :D But my favorite will more than likely not be made...(Airmaster) as they are coming out with a Robot Damashii of Burst. They usually never announce an MG of a Gundam when the Damashii has also been announced. But still, i digress, here here!! This is amazing news :D

      Delete
  9. Honestly, I believed that when the time came, they'd announce this guy as the 200th MG. So consider me surprised.

  11. Place your bets!
Gundam X Divider: Included, released separately or online exclusive?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. online exclusive according to bandai trend.....and NO!!!!!!!!!!! (TwT)

      Delete
    2. at that price point, there is no way it will be included. either released separately or very much high chance for online exclusive

      Delete
    3. X Divider - exclusive
      DX - regular release

      Thats how I'm calling it.

      Delete
    4. DX with g falcon - online exclusive

      Delete
    5. X Divider will most certainly be the exclusive and DX the regular since he is coming out in the next few weeks in HG

      Delete
    6. @Anon 745: DX with G-Falcon is very unlikely to happen...although I'm not saying that it won't happen since the fact that Bandai did release this Jabbers for UC kits, there's a very, very slight chance that Bandai would consider that especially for MG. Coz' if the really do, then we could have get those 00 series' GN-Arms, SEED's M.E.T.E.O.R and Sky Graspers in their MG scales...

But yeah, Bandai, with the GX, now your talking.

      Delete
  12. AWESOME !!!
will Double X be next ???

    ReplyDelete
  13. Dream come true... 1st MG for GX =)

Divider will come separately (hopefully comes with bazooka and panzer faust from it's old HG 1/100)

And 99.9% DX will follow since Tamashii already gave a challenge to BanDai (Airmaster Burst and G-Falcon)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Is it just me or does the Satellite Cannon look so thin?

    ReplyDelete
  15. And thus the entire Gunpla community simultaneously climaxed...including myself...and those who didn't...well I guess they just aren't fans of Gundam X or the suit...in which case I pity their souls...but to hell with them...let me do my happy dance...

Double X might as well be confirmed...and if it isn't I'm pretty sure a movement of pissed off fans will start up... which will march up to Bandai pitch forks, torches, and bricks in hand...Gundam X Divider I'm a little fearful for as it might get Online Exclusived and if it does happen I'll be pretty pissed...Gundam X Maou...ehhh...if Gundam Build Fighters does well it might happen or at the very least online Exclusive...which I won't care about to be honest...unless it's really really cool in the show then I might be eating my own hat...

V2...you're getting a High Grade...Wing Zero TV Version finally got it's Master Grade...and Build Fighters is helping to promote old suits...it's only a matter of time now...2014 Ver. Ka at some point...calling it now...and if Build Fighters does really well...then maybe at the end of the Series next year or whenever they might bring in the AGE-3 and FX which might give them their Master Grades...although that's really stretching...I need to stop this wish train before it goes off the track...

Anyways super freaking hyped for this kit can't wait to see more of it and I especially can't wait for the Double X when it comes at some point...

    1. if the new series does well, I think they can easily release MG version of the first generation Build Strike. The frame and some of the armor parts are already there except the X, which is why I think they made this in the first place.

      Delete
  16. Wow it's really happening, were finally getting a MG from the X series, I'm definitely going to preorder Gundam X and hopefully this will lead to Double X getting the MG treatment as well. (:

oh well I wouldn't spend that much for a mid 90's gundam.

  33. Been waiting so long on this one but this prototype kinda turns me off
there's something wrong about the proportions e.g. feets are too pointy etc.
I was hoping for it to be tight looking like the mg aile rm and wing proto zero well it's just my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Agree, this prototype is very similar with the old 1/100 HG.

      Delete
    2. Fyi the only difference between a prototype & final product is color not it's proportion..

      Delete
    3. FYI you're wrong. Bandai do make design changes between prototype and final versions.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm a huge fan of gundam x series but for me this looks so outdated compared to their newly released kit i preferred the maou version instead, oh one more thing those feets looks like a kiwi's head..

  47. My fingers are crossed for mg virsago and hgaw virsago...simply because it's my favorite gundam in the x series

    ReplyDelete
  48. Finally Gundam X series gets its' first MG. I hope they change those hands to the PG style hands and not keep the MG wing series style ones I see on the prototype

    ReplyDelete
  49. Well I have to say wow and yes finally he is out. Expected or not expected... is the better question took me a while to think it was expected. What I turn to is the trend, well since completion of main suits was in order for HG Toyline and seem to be followed in MG as well, I think they released MG X Gundam as the frontliner of 2014 which is rather astonishing as many wanted it bad, though I still say it was expected. I said expected since Wing Series only had a few left to offer(if they continue TGIII, Nataku/Altron etc..) and now to show some more of other series outside UC. As for My expectations I do not know much as to what is Bandai thinking, sensing it is more of the task. Another solid, quick to snap build kit, basing on judgement from wing/seed/age toyline, hands will be swap parts type(trends in units outside UC recent releases), color clear pieces(he needs it more than having large stickers still its easier for bandai to print stickers), details still in question(the panels on it backpack), color separation and a few tricks up it sleeve(hidden gimmicks, Led compatible???, armor movement)... I do not know.

    ReplyDelete
  50. IT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED.......BANDAI finally gets it that Gundam X should have been released as a MG!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. There's only one reason that Bandai is releasing this kit now: The Gundam X Maoh. Just like they did with AGE, Bandai is skipping out on the 1/100 no grades for Build Fighters and going streight to Master Grades. The MG Build Strike is coming out in February, The rest of the main cast's gunbla (Build Gundam Mk-II, Zaku Amazing, Wing Gundam Fenice, and Sengoku Astray) will all come out in short order because we already have MGs of the Suits they're based on. The Gundam X is the exception, if Bandai wants to make the Gundam X Maoh in MG, then they have to release this version first. I hope they'll also release the Gundam X Divider soon
